Gawk was established in 2015 as a result of a merger between Full Stretch Display and Podd Display.

By combining the strengths of two established industry specialists, based on a common passion and deep mutual respect, Gawk was envisioned to deliver innovative display products and services to a market ready for world class solutions.

With an aspiration to grow the Gawk brand based on the desire to optimally service our clientele, the founders felt that the best way to achieve this was to join forces. As a result, the marriage of skills and resources brought to Gawk are set to bring tangible value to current and future users of our cutting edge products.

Gawk exists to disrupt the status quo. Our vision is to be recognised as the
go-to partner for marketing success based on a foundation of unique display solutions fuelled by product innovation.

Co Founder | Director | Innovation Guru

Gawk co-founder Alphons du Toit burns the midnight oil tinkering in his lab. Whilst he mostly blows things up, every now and then he produces other worldly products like TRIGA® that are pure genius. Outside of his lab, Alphons is locked away, banned from speaking to clients because in Alphons’ mind ‘we can make anything!’

SANDRO CORRADO

Co Founder | Managing Director | OCD Inflicted

In his mind, Gawk co-founder and managing director, Sandro Corrado lives on a Caribbean island with a pina colada in one hand and a good book in the other. In reality, Sandro is operating at 250km/h bollocking everyone that can’t keep up. Fiercely protective of his team and immensely proud of the Gawk brand, there is little Sandro won’t do to guarantee our clients the best Gawk experience possible.

Super-heroine, Yvonne Corrado heads our Client Service team. We estimate Yvonne dealt with over a million people (no lies) in the 15 years she worked in the airline industry. At an early age, Robbie Breedt traded her Barbie’s for electric screwdrivers. Comfortable at the top of an 8m ladder, with an in depth knowledge of all things technical, Robbie runs our production facility with efficiency and quality Henry Ford would be proud of.

Design Manager | Visual Savant

There is nothing our design wizard, JP Oosthuizen can’t do. JP waves his magic wand, pops and drops visual ingredients into a cauldron of creative gloop and produces a feast of creative magic enough to make our eyes water. Supported by the oracle Liz, our clients are guaranteed world class design quality across a multitude of platforms.
